To me, it seems like a really weird fetish. What could possibly be attractive about a mannequin in the shape of a human? I mean, sure, it looks realistic and sex dolls is programed to do certain things, but it’s not a real person. And that’s where a lot of people draw the line.
I think the idea of a man sex doll is just another way to control and objectify human bodies. And I can’t understand the need for it. It’s not like people can’t find sexual companionship without these dolls. (Unless maybe you’re really shy or anti-social, I guess?) But it still seems odd to me, and a bit creepy.
What I do find interesting is the fact that some of these dolls even have personalities. You can actually program in different preferences and personalities for different customers. I mean, why have a bunch of generic robots when you can customize your own?
And as unsettling as the idea of having a lifelike doll seems to me, it would definitely be interesting to have a conversation with one of these machines. I’d be curious to find out just how lifelike they actually are.
Ultimately, I’m still on the fence about these sex dolls. On one hand, I don’t think it’s necessary for anyone to own one. On the other, I can’t help but wonder what they’re really like. Maybe I’ll check one out one of these days just to see. Then I’ll really know what I think about them.
Okay, so I just finished talking about the man sex dolls, and I started to wonder: “Where do they come from?” As it turns out, these dolls are actually made by some of the same companies that make robots for industry. Some of the models are even made using 3D printing. The technology is really quite amazing.
Then I wondered how much a man sex doll must cost. Prices vary, but it looks like you can expect to pay anywhere from a few hundred to several thousand dollars for one of these. Of course it really depends on the features, materials and, most importantly, the supplier.
And then I started to think about the people who buy these dolls. Are they just curious people? Or do the actually find them desirable? Because honestly, it’s a bit hard for me to wrap my head around the idea of someone being attracted to such a thing.
At the end of the day, I still don’t know what to make of man sex dolls. It’s an interesting concept, to be sure, but it’s not something I think I could ever wrap my brain around. So I’ll just have to take the chance to do more research and make an informed decision.
